The High Valleys La Grave, Clarée, Izoard
Les Hautes Vallées - La Grave, la Clarée, l'Izoard is a destination with three territories and eight communes spread across the wild, unspoilt valleys of the Briançonnais, in the very north of the Hautes-Alpes and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, on the borders of Isère, Savoie and Italy.
Eight communes in the Briançonnais have joined forces to form a tourist office: La Grave, Villar d'Arène, Névache, Val-des-Prés, Cervières, Villard-Saint-Pancrace, Puy-Saint-Pierre and Puy-Saint-André.

The Clarée Valley, The enchanted valley
Along the banks of the Clarée are two pretty villages, Val-des-Prés and Névache. These villages and their hamlets offer authenticity and wide-open spaces for your outdoor activities.
Well-known for its many mountain lakes, the upper Clarée valley also offers magnificent peaks at over 3000 m altitude. This is how you can climb one of the most beautiful and accessible summits in the Hautes-Alpes: Mont Thabor.
On the edge of the Italian border, discover La vallée Étroite. Parallel to the Clarée valley, this valley is French on paper, but Italian at heart. Indeed, it'shard to feel French in a place where Italian is spoken and eaten. The Vallée Étroite is a trip to Italy without even crossing the French border.

FROM THE IZOARD PASS TO AUTHENTIC VILLAGES
Les villages de Cervières, Villard-Saint-Pancrace, Puy-Saint-Pierre et Puy-Saint-André en sont l’essence même.
Situés entre le col de l’Izoard et Briançon – Serre-Chevalier, ces charmants villages sont riches d’une histoire militaire, religieuse, mais avant tout paysanne.
Des villages préservés, certains perchés, avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée de la Durance et de Serre-Chevalier… Déconnexion assurée, loin des foules des grandes stations.
Le col de l’Izoard quant à lui est une route emblématique des Alpes, bien connu pour les nombreux passages du Tour de France, mais c’est aussi une porte d’entrée grandiose sur le Queyras !
