Dogs in the High Valleys – La Grave, La Clarée, L'Izoard
Please note that in summer, herds are often guarded by protective dogs called "Patous."

Mid-June is the peak season for flowering meadows in La Grave, Clarée, and around Izoard. It's the ideal time to visit the Hautes Vallées. You'll also find fewer crowds than during the summer months.
