From Grenoble :
  •  From the Col du Lautaret: take the N85 towards Briançon, then the D1091 via Bourg d'Oisans and the Col du Lautaret. The Col du Lautaret is sometimes closed in winter, depending on weather conditions.

  • Via the Frejus Tunnel: Take the A43 towards Chambery, then the A43 towards Modane. At Modane take the N543: Frejus Tunnel (T4 Bardonnèche - Turin - Montgenèvre).
    Pass through the tunnel and continue towards Oulx via the E70 then the SS24 towards Mongenèvre. Pass the Col du Montgenèvre. At Les Alberts, enter the Vallée de Clarée on the R.D. 94.
    In summer, you can take the Col de l'Echelle (from Bardonecchia).
From Marseille - Briançon :
  • From Marseille: A51 to La Saulce, then R.N. 94 to Briançon.
  • From Briançon: follow signs for Montgenèvre / Turin. Enter the Vallée de Clarée RD94. Pass through the villages of La Vachette, Val des Prés and the hamlets of Névache: Plampinet, le Roubion, le Cros, Ville Basse and Ville Haute.
From Italy: Oulx and Bardonecchia
  • From Oulx: over the Col du Montgenèvre. At Les Alberts, enter the Vallée de Clarée RD94. Pass through the village of Val des Prés and the hamlets of Névache: Plampinet, le Roubion, le Cros, Ville Basse and Ville Haute.
  • From Bardonecchia :
    In
    summer only, take the Col de l'Échelle to reach Roubion.
    In winter, follow Oulx - Col de Montgenèvre.
Vallée de la Clarée and Vallée Étroite

From July 10 to August 30, the Laval and Vallée Étroite parking lots are subject to a charge:

- Laval: €10/day/vehicle or €30/season/vehicle

- Vallée Étroite: €3/day/vehicle

MOUNTAIN LAW: MANDATORY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
❄Snow tires or special equipment are mandatory from November 1 to March 31 ❄

To improve user safety in snowy and icy conditions and limit road blockages, winter equipment is mandatory.

You can choose to equip your vehicle :

  • with four winter tires
  • or have chains or snow socks for at least two drive wheels.
