Downhill skiing in Izoard
The villages of Puy-Saint-Pierre and Puy-Saint-André overlook Briançon and are a privileged gateway to the Briançon-Serre Chevalier alpine ski area. From the Pralong intermediate station, kilometers of slopes await winter sports enthusiasts.

Alpine skiing Prorel sector
From the slopes, the village ofPuy-Saint-André can be seen below. The slopes are accessible to as many people as possible, with a course specially designed for learning downhill skiing.
The Prorel gondola lift, built in 1990, connects the town of Briançon to the rest of the Serre Chevalier ski area. The intermediate station, located at an altitude of 1,627m, provides access to the Pralong plateau, where you will find a beginners' area, picnic tables, the Chalet de Pralong restaurant, and the Pralong farm, with a magnificent view of the forts of Briançon and the surrounding mountains. The second section, which is more aerial, takes you to the Croix de la Nore station, which offers a beautiful barbecue area. Take a break at the Chalet du Serre Blanc.
the prorel slopes, ideal for beginners
No matter what your skiing level, you'll find something to enjoy as you hurtle down the slopes of Prorel:
- Beginner area (1st section)
It includes a conveyor belt, the Pitchounets ski lift, and three green slopes.
- Intermediate level (2nd section)
TheLes Bergerstrailisaccessible via the Serre Blanc ski lift or the Rocher Blanc chairlift. A superb view of the Ecrins and Queyras mountains awaits you.
With family or friends, don't hesitate to try the Funny Cross, a fun and easy course that's ideal for having a good time.
- Good level (2nd section)
The red trails of Prorel: From the arrival station, take theGrande Gargouille and/orRempartstrails, then continue onthe Vauban trail. A 1,300-meter descent awaits you! If you want to do multiple runs, take the Stade ski lift back up.
