The so-called Delouis house presents a sundial painted by the Piedmontese dial Giovanni Franesco Zarbula. Painted in 1839, it was restored by Evelyne Rey-Peyrot.

Description

This dial is attributed to the famous Zarbula dial maker because its GZF signature can be found at the bottom right of the dial. At the bottom left, we find the initials W.E.F.G. These are probably the initials of the owner of the house that ordered the dial, preceded by the W for 'Enviva'. It is actually the celebration of the owner of the house.

This dial has for motto "Without the sun I am nothing and you without God you can do nothing" and "Forte tua", which can be translated here as "your last hour".
Although it is not one of the most decorated dials in Zarbua, we find here these usual features such as the M for noon, the tail of the arrows and the rounded writing of numbers.
We can note that on the same facade, we see the traces of another dial between two windows.
