Cello au Sommet is the organizing association of the Festival and the Académie Violoncelles en folie.

Description

France's leading international cello festival.
Around 18 concerts in August in the Briançonnais region, including 6 free concerts.
Numerous renowned artists.
Eclectic programming: classical music, jazz, world music, contemporary music, as well as commissions and premieres of new musical works.
Alongside the Festival concerts, the Académie Violoncelles en folie welcomes around a hundred amateur cellists to Villard St Pancrace every year: children, students, adult musicians and beginners, from all over France, Europe and Latin America, for a week of meetings, rehearsals, lectures and concerts on the cello.
Numerous educational and artistic activities throughout the year.
