THE ICEFALL DE VILLAR D'ARÈNE
Perfect as an introduction to ice climbing, this spot is the perfect place to pick up your first ice axe.
8 à 10 voies peuvent être installées. Certaines sont équipées de relais sur corde + maillon rapide autour d’arbres, pour d’autres c’est à vous d’installer.
The longest pitches are 25m, but it's best to take a 60 rope to get away from the foot of the routes.
Please note: access to the foot of the routes is via a small zip-line across the Romanche river.
To access the waterfall you must :
- Reserve a slot and pay your participation fee
- Be in possession of insurance covering this activity
