The road to the upper Clarée Valley and the Col de l'Échelle pass are closed for the winter.

The 7th Alpine Chasseurs Battalion will be conducting military maneuvers at the Granon firing range from December 1 to April 15, 2026. Access to this area is not recommended.

For one morning, the Col de l'Echelle road will be closed to motorized traffic from 9am to 12pm on both sides, to allow cycling enthusiasts to take full advantage of this magnificent mountain route.
