The clock face of the bell tower of the church of Saint Marcellin would probably be attributed to the famous Piedmontese dial maker from the 19th century, Giovanni Francesco Zarbula, but unfortunately it is not signed.

Description

Restored in 1991 by the Peyrot family on the occasion of the restoration of the bell tower.
The typical style of the Zarbula dial maker is characterized by a frame with unhookings, an illusion of perspective and the sun with its undulating rays at the centre of the style is clearly present here, but the dial is not signed with the letters G.Z.F that are usually found on his works.
