At the municipal library, you'll find novels, comics, essays, magazines, as well as CDs and DVDs for young and old.

Description

The municipal library of Val-des-Prés is a relay of the Departmental Library of Prêt which regularly renews the works put on loan and strives to satisfy the requests for titles of the readers.

More than 5000 documents are available: books for adults, teenagers, children (novels, comics, albums, documentaries ...), cassettes and audio CDs, videocassettes and DVDs.

The municipal library of Val-des-Prés is located in La Vachette, above the Tourism Service.

The Association Around the Book is responsible for managing the municipal library, this association also organizes events around reading.

Opening hours

From 01/01 to 31/12 on Monday and Friday between 5.30 pm and 7 pm.
Closed exceptionally on January 1st, Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, July 14th, August 15th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
