Backcountry skiing for 13-17 year olds - ESF Névache
Back Country skiing is simply Nordic ski touring for young people aged 13 to 17, i.e. off-track (away from villages and groomed cross-country ski trails), free heel and on moderate terrain.
Description
The instructor will share his passion for equipment that reduces the amount of downhill effort, thanks to wider skis with metal edges. However, Nordic ski touring (Back Country skiing) holds all the technical keys to cross-country and alpine skiing, and even adds those of telemark skiing. It is the origin of all these disciplines.
This new formula offers young people the chance to discover wilder landscapes, in good spirits and with a new daily rhythm. Overnight in a refuge on Thursday evening.
