The sundial bearing the name of the locality where it is located, “Le Lauzin,” dates from 1854 and 1989.

Description

It is a sundial painted on a panel with arrow lines, numbered at the ends, in a linear painted style.

Its motto, “High praise in the high mountains” (in Latin: “Alta laus in montibus altis”), comes from the name of its locality (Lauzin: Laus in).
