Discover the Col du Prorel by ski touring on a signposted itinerary. It's an itinerary to suit all levels, with a choice of positive vertical drops equal to 500m d+, 650m d+ or 840m d+.

Description

From the parking lot in the village of Puy-Saint-Pierre, walk up the route de la ferme de Pralong to put on your skis in the hairpin at the oratory. There are a number of escape routes to suit your level of skiing, and you can also escape via the slopes.
A second departure is possible from the intermediate station of the Prorel gondola from Briançon.

The itinerary is marked but not secured, so you are on your own responsibility. When ski touring, it is compulsory to take your safety kit with you (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe), and to prepare your outing properly in advance.
