The hamlet of Les Combes on snowshoes

This balcony walk, lined with larches, follows the route des Combes to reach the hamlet of the same name at the gateway to the Partias reserve.

Description

Park in the large car park at the entrance to Puy-Chalvin, then walk to the top of the village.

At the last house, continue along the wide track that leads to the hamlet of Les Combes until you reach the intersection at the Saint Laurent chapel.

Continue climbing via the Route des Combes (2nd intersection) until you reach the hamlet.

Descend by following the Combes track to the Saint-Laurent chapel. Then take the chapel path down directly to the hamlet of Les Combes, avoiding the road you took on the way up.
