Centre Briançonnais de Géologie Alpine (CGBA)
A cultural association of a scientific nature whose aim is to help people discover and enjoy geology. Courses and trips for schools and teachers, initiations for the public, both in the field and at the Geology and Geopark House.
Description
Created in 1989, the CBGA organises field courses for high school and university students and science and technology teachers, as well as introductory courses in geology for the general public. The association was entrusted with the management and animation of the House of Geology and Geopark, which opened in 2016. In addition to the permanent exhibition space (inside and outside), it offers guided tours, temporary exhibitions, conferences and various activities. The CBGA also offers field trips and outdoor activities.
