Bureau Montagne Visa Trekking
The Briançon Mountain Office is a group of mountain guides. Throughout the seasons, you can come and explore the mountains on foot, on snowshoes, on ski tours, and in the water (canyoning).
Description
During the summer, we offer mountain hikes for all skill levels. Canyoning with the Briançon Mountain Office is a fun and thrilling summer activity in the surrounding mountain streams.
In winter, we offer snowshoeing (hiking on snowshoes) to explore unspoiled areas. It’s a gentle winter activity to enjoy alone, with family, or with friends.
We also offer ski touring, freeride touring, and off-piste skiing. Explore the mountains on ski tours far from the ski resorts; ski off-piste in Serre Chevalier and the areas near Briançon—from beginner lessons to expert-level tours, on half-day trips, multi-day circuit tours, or extended expeditions (with staffed mountain huts)—anything is possible!
The Briançon Mountain Guides Office offers:
- guidance from qualified and experienced professionals
- a friendly atmosphere: group sizes are adjusted based on conditions and the activity
- tailored skill levels: for each activity, several skill-level groups are offered
- customized options for all specific requests!
An eco-conscious approach to our outdoor sports activities:
When participating in outdoor sports, we move through fragile ecosystems (fauna, flora, etc., in various environments). This tour operator offers activities with a deep awareness of the fragility of these environments. You’ll receive several simple tips to minimize your impact on the environment as much as possible. These will be shared with you during activities such as hiking, canyoning, snowshoeing, and ski touring. Additionally, we encourage carpooling for all transportation needs.
For snowshoe hikes, transportation will be offered free of charge, subject to availability. The office is a signatory to an agreement in partnership with the Écrins National Park. Flyers are printed on recycled paper.
The Visa Trekking mountain office is a member and holds the “Esprit Parc des Écrins” certification. Certain outings in the Écrins National Park are certified under this program.
They support this approach to sustainable tourism and mountain conservation. Commitment, authenticity, respect, sharing, and vitality are the brand’s core values.
