Come and enjoy a memorable experience with your family, friends or colleagues. With this original snowshoe outing, I'll take you to a high-altitude refuge where you'll enjoy a break over a good meal... before sledging down the mountain!

Description

You'll start with a snowshoe ascent to the Col de l'Izoard: a relatively long climb, but one that's accessible to children aged 10 and over and to those who enjoy occasional physical activity. It's also an opportunity to learn many stories about mountain wildlife and its adaptations to winter.

When you arrive at the refuge, you'll enjoy a well-deserved break: on afternoon outings, enjoy a tasty snack with our famous homemade cakes, and on evening outings, feast on a hearty mountain meal.

And then there's... 6 kms of tobogganing!

Headlamps provided for night descents. Snowshoes, poles and sledges also provided.

The price does not include meals and drinks at the refuge. Bring a checkbook or cash, as credit cards don't work up there due to lack of network.

Departure at 1:30 p.m. for the snack hut outing with late afternoon descent, or at 4:30 p.m. for the dinner hut outing with night descent.

Fee: from 240 €.

• Private day or night outing: 240 € for the group up to 5 people then 15€/additional person.
• Private outing 1/2 day: 170 € for the group up to 5 people then 15€/additional person.
• Group outing 1⁄2 day: €35/adult and €30/child
• Heritage outing 1⁄2 day: €38/adult and €30/child
• Group outing day: €60/adult and €40/child
• Private outing 2 days night in a refuge: €560/group up to 4 people, then €60/additional person. Plan in addition your half-board in a shelter: from €55-60/person depending on the chosen shelter
• Tour de la Haute Clarée en refuge, all inclusive stay (5 days): € 740/person.
• 2-day survival course with night in an igloo: 250 € /person on individual registration. Or privatized formula group or family: 650€ for 3 people, 750€ for 4 people, 850€ for 5 people.
