Digital Astrophotography stay

This one-week stay is focused on the practice of celestial object photography using various existing techniques: planetary imaging with a webcam, wide-field stellar imaging with parallel mounting, and deep-sky object imaging.

If you have your own observation and/or photographic equipment, feel free to bring it along: we will teach you how to use it in the best possible way.
This stay is intended for amateur astronomers who already have some experience and wish to learn or improve their astrophotography skills. It may also appeal to photography enthusiasts eager to discover advanced night photography techniques.

Overlooking the valley and facing the Écrins massif and its eternal glaciers, the chalet is set in the heart of a remarkable natural site and enjoys peace and quiet, as well as a unique panorama from the southern slope of the mountain.

The clarity of its sky, preserved from light pollution, the surrounding calm, and the comfort of the accommodation make this place an ideal site for astronomy enthusiasts, as you will discover during the observatory visit.
