Description
Set in the heart of an exceptional natural environment, Camping de La Meije is a human-scale establishment that combines comfort, conviviality and ecological commitment. It adjoins the huge communal leisure area, offering direct access to a wide range of facilities, including tennis courts, a multi-sports field, a children's playground, pétanque courts, a barbecue area and vast relaxation areas.
Holidaymakers can also take advantage of the campsite's swimming pool for cool, relaxing family moments, as well as a mini golf course.
The spacious (90 to 100 m²), flat, shaded pitches, bordered by natural hedges, guarantee calm, privacy and comfort in a verdant setting with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Terraces facing the Meije glaciers have been specially designed for hikers.

Sustainable tourism : This campsite couldn't be called anything else, as the view of the Meije glaciers is omnipresent: it's a sight you can't get enough of.
Situated on the banks of the river, it offers 50 pitches on grassy grounds planted with trees. To preserve the calm of the area, the campsite offers no entertainment and has no shops. For stores and restaurants, just take the 5-minute footpath to the village of La Grave. It's also the starting point for the cable car to the Meije glaciers.
The campsite has a heated swimming pool and play areas for children. As for excursions, you're spoilt for choice. Staying at the gateway to the Ecrins National Park, there's no shortage of opportunities to discover its exceptional natural environment.
