Description

From the Villar d'Arène cemetery parking lot, at the mountain bike route map,
go up towards the church, then leave the village towards the hamlet of Pied du Col via a dirt track.
Turn left at the D207, then right on the D1091 (towards Col du Lautaret). As soon as possible, turn right onto a dirt track between the D1091 and the D207.
Before you reach the hamlet of Pied du Col, rejoin the D207 for about 100 m before turning right.
Cross the campsite and walk along the right bank of the Romanche river to the foot of the Gravière, where the footpaths start.
Head back towards Pied du Col, then cross the D1091 and climb up to the hamlet of Cours.
Once in the hamlet, continue climbing on a left-hand path before reaching the tarmac road to take on the way down.
Leave this road for a path leading down to the Saint Antoine chapel. Arrival at Villar d'Arène.
