La Grave hamlets by e-bike

Start from sunny La Grave with its stone and slate houses, opposite the imposing 3983m summit of La Meije, and ride through Ventelon and the hamlet of Valfroide. Peddling in paradise!

Description

From La Grave, take the D1091 towards Col du Lautaret, cross the tunnel and turn right immediately after the tunnel towards Ventelon / Le Chazelet. Drive up to Ventelon, then turn right to continue to the hamlet of Valfroide. Return by the same route to Ventelon, then continue to Le Chazelet via Les Terrasses. Return by the same route.
Remember to bring a torch to use in the tunnels.
