It's also one of the most beautiful stages of the famous GR5 (La Grande traversée des Alpes). You can also try roaming the Hautes Vallées - La Grave, Clarée, Izoard - to reach La Grave and the Ecrins National Park. Whether you're bivouacking or staying comfortably in one of our mountain refuges in Névache or the Vallée Étroite, with family or friends, you're sure to find a route to suit you.

Departing from Névache, in 6 stages you'll coverthe most beautiful trails in the Hautes-Alpes, with the added bonus of climbing Mont Thabor, a 3000 m peak between Névache and the Vallée Étroite that's easy to access.

Today, mountain refuges rival the quality of many valley lodgings. From Névache, families can also explore the upper Clarée valley and its suspended valleys, a Natura 2000 listed site.
We propose a 3-night, 4-day nature hike between the Buffère, Chardonnet and Ricou huts. This is your first experience of itinerancy in the comfort of a mountain hut.

It's taking the measure of the land we've covered more slowly, building stronger links than with those images that jostle in front of the windshield like TV zapping.
And zero-carbon means adopting reflexes to use the car as little as possible, and favoring means of transport that are gentler on the planet, but also on the head and body.
What landscape will be revealed behind the next ridge - peaks, a lake perhaps? Will the architecture of the houses, the trees and the hut keeper's favorite dish be different?
