Description

From the La Grave tourist office, head up through the village towards the church, leaving it on your left and continuing straight on uphill. Take the dirt track to Les Terrasses, cut the bends in the road, still following the GR54, to reach the oratory, a famous viewpoint over the Meije massif, the perch, a footbridge suspended over the void.

Opposite, climb the path that leads first to the orientation table, then follow the ridge to the junction.

Then right onto the path that crosses the south-facing slope to Les Clots (tricky passage with cable).

Continue as far as Ventelon and return to La Grave on the path that leaves after the first bend in the road below Ventelon.
